Danish Institute for Parties & Democracy and our projects

The Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) was established in 2011 with the support of the Danish Social Democrats with the purpose of strengthening and extending the Danish support for democracy worldwide. Through a direct support of political parties, the Social Democrats achieved a new channel for advancement of democracy, solidarity and equal opportunities around the world. We seized the opportunity and initiated democracy-enhancing projects. The Danish Social Democrats are engaged in projects in cooperation with Social Democratic parties in Burkina Faso, Swaziland and regionally in Asia.

We're involved in three projects financed by DIPD
